The VPT160 is a professional-grade hydraulic pressure tester designed to check cylinder heads and engine blocks for cracks, leaks, or structural defects via hot-water immersion testing. The part is sealed, submerged in a heated water tank, and pressurized — any leak (e.g. from a crack) becomes visible as air bubbles rising through the water, giving a clear, reliable indication of failure.
The tank is built from stainless steel and fully insulated to maintain temperature while limiting heat loss. Two powerful heating elements warm the water, and a hydraulic cradle / rotation system holds and rotates the head or block for comprehensive inspection. This makes the VPT160 suitable for rebuild shops, heavy-duty shops, or anyone wanting dependable leak detection before reassembly.

Your machine’s long-term performance is our priority.
Decades before today’s engine shops trusted our equipment, Tony was already deep in the craft — rebuilding motors, machining blocks, and pushing for better precision.
A local newspaper once featured him as a standout young machinist, noting his drive, attention to detail, and obsession with doing things the right way. That same passion would eventually shape our company’s values.
Today, that commitment lives on in every machine we sell, every customer we support, and every shop we help succeed.
