Comec FSV120 Valve Seat Cutting Machine

The Comec FSV120 is a professional-grade valve seat cutting machine built for cylinder heads of cars, trucks, and commercial engines. It’s designed to produce accurate, concentric valve seats with repeatable geometry — critical for valve sealing, compression and performance. The machine features a floating, air-cushioned head for fast, precise positioning; a robust 360°-rotating head fixture for stability; and fine micrometric adjustments for precise depth and alignment.

Because of its build quality and seat-cutting range, the FSV120 is especially suitable for engine rebuild shops, heavy-duty or truck head work, or any shop that needs consistent, high-precision valve-seat machining.

Key Features

  • Wide Valve-Seat Diameter Range — Handles seats from 14 mm to 76 mm, covering most automotive, light- and medium-duty, and many heavy-duty cylinder-heads.
  • Air-Cushion Floating Head for Fast Setup — Spindle head glides on an air cushion allowing quick, smooth positioning over the valve guide pilot for better centering before cutting.
  • Fixed Pilot + Spherical Adapter Alignment System — Helps guarantee correct alignment and centering — minimizing runout and improving seat concentricity.
  • Dual Spindle-Feed System — Fast coarse feed via front hand-wheel plus fine micrometric feed for precise cutting and control over seat depth and finish.
  • 360° Rotating, Rigid Head Fixture & Solid Clamping — Robust fixture design reduces tool vibration and ensures stable cutting — contributing to a quality seat finish even on large or heavy heads.
  • Standard Accessories Included — Comes with spindle with ISO-30 taper, tool holders for multiple seat-diameter ranges, carbide-pilot inserts, vacuum-tester for seat leak testing, LED work light, chip tray & storage — making it ready for immediate operation.

Ready to Make the Right Equipment Choice?

Built on Real Engine-Rebuilding Experience

Decades before today’s engine shops trusted our equipment, Tony was already deep in the craft — rebuilding motors, machining blocks, and pushing for better precision.

A local newspaper once featured him as a standout young machinist, noting his drive, attention to detail, and obsession with doing things the right way. That same passion would eventually shape our company’s values.

Today, that commitment lives on in every machine we sell, every customer we support, and every shop we help succeed.
