Comec FSV100 Valve Seat Cutting Machine

The Comec FSV100 is a precision valve-seat cutting machine designed for cylinder heads from motorcycles, cars, and commercial-vehicle engines. It ensures accurate alignment, smooth cutting, and consistent seat geometry, making it well suited for engine rebuild shops, performance builders, or anyone doing valve-work in-house. The machine is engineered for ease of use — a floating head for smooth positioning, a robust 360° rotating head-fixture for secure clamping and easy access, and integrated controls/fixtures to simplify setup.

By combining alignment precision, flexible seat-diameter capability, and ergonomic features, the FSV100 helps reduce rework and delivers high-quality valve seat finishes that meet demanding tolerance and sealing requirements.

Key Features

  • Wide Seat Diameter Range — Handles valve seat diameters from 14 mm to 76 mm, covering most passenger-car, light-truck, and many commercial-engine heads.
  • Air-Cushion Floating Head — The spindle head glides on an air cushion for light, precise positioning over the carbide pilot inserted in the valve guide, simplifying setup and reducing risk of misalignment.
  • Fixed-Pilot + Spherical-Adapter Setup — Combined with the floating head, this ensures fast, accurate alignment and centering before cutting.
  • 360° Rotating Fixture / Secure Clamping — The universal head fixture can rotate and lock in place, supporting a wide variety of cylinder-head sizes. Clamping is simple and quick, with micrometric-leveling for proper heads alignment.
  • Dual Spindle Advancement System — A quick-action front hand-wheel for coarse feed, plus a lateral micrometric fine-feed wheel — giving control over cutting feed and finish.
  • Adjustable & Ergonomic — Work-head travel, vertical stroke, tilt adjustability (±15°), and built-in electronic leveling with display help you adapt to many head designs while keeping setup straightforward.
  • Comprehensive Standard Equipment — Comes with carbide pilots, multiple insert holders (for different seat diameter ranges), tool-setting fixtures, vacuum tester for seat sealing, LED work light, chip tray, and more — making it a ready-to-use seat machine out of the crate.

Ready to Make the Right Equipment Choice?

Built on Real Engine-Rebuilding Experience

Decades before today’s engine shops trusted our equipment, Tony was already deep in the craft — rebuilding motors, machining blocks, and pushing for better precision.

A local newspaper once featured him as a standout young machinist, noting his drive, attention to detail, and obsession with doing things the right way. That same passion would eventually shape our company’s values.

Today, that commitment lives on in every machine we sell, every customer we support, and every shop we help succeed.
