Axe SW-50 'The Ultimate' Spray Washer/Hot Tank Combination

The SW-50 is a high-capacity, heavy-duty spray washer + hot-tank combo built for engine shops, rebuilders, and machine shops that need a “do-it-all” parts-cleaning system. With a 50″ vertical chamber clearance, a 28″ diameter roll-out turntable, and a 1,500 lb load capacity, it can handle everything from automotive blocks/heads to large diesel or industrial engine castings.

Equipped with a 10 HP pump delivering 140 gallons per minute at ~80 psi, the SW-50 cleans thoroughly and efficiently — oil, grease, carbon, casting residue, and grime are stripped fast. Its built-in hot-tank soak and versatile internal capacity make it a robust all-around cleaning solution for shops that rebuild in-house.

Because of its size and versatility, the SW-50 fits both “light-duty” jobs (car engine blocks, heads) and “heavy-duty” work (diesel blocks, long inline engines, big industrial castings). That flexibility is what earns it the “Ultimate” moniker.

Key Features

  • Large Capacity Chamber — 50″ of vertical clearance and 28″ turntable give you room for tall parts, long blocks, or large castings.
  • High Load Rating — Handles up to 1,500 lb per load, supporting heavy-duty engine blocks or industrial parts without limitations.
  • Powerful Cleaning Performance — 10 HP pump delivering 140 GPM at ~80 psi, using a heavy-duty 2″ manifold and 360° spray design for complete coverage.
  • Built-in Hot Tank & Multiple Tank Sizes — Choose from multiple hot-tank basket sizes (13″×34″×11″, 24″×34″×11″, or 24″×55″×11″) depending on part size and cleaning needs.
  • Flexible Setup — Dual-Block Stacking Option — With proper fixturing, you can clean two automotive blocks (or a block plus sheet-metal parts) in one cycle, maximizing throughput.
  • Shop-Friendly Design — Roll-out turntable and spring-loaded lay-down door make loading/unloading safer and cleaner; insulation helps retain heat for hot-tank cycles.
  • Complete Cleaning System — With high flow rate, large manifold, and hot-tank soak, the SW-50 handles tough grease, carbon deposits, oil, and casting residues — a “one-stop” cleaning station for rebuild shops.

Ready to Make the Right Equipment Choice?

Built on Real Engine-Rebuilding Experience

Decades before today’s engine shops trusted our equipment, Tony was already deep in the craft — rebuilding motors, machining blocks, and pushing for better precision.

A local newspaper once featured him as a standout young machinist, noting his drive, attention to detail, and obsession with doing things the right way. That same passion would eventually shape our company’s values.

Today, that commitment lives on in every machine we sell, every customer we support, and every shop we help succeed.
