The Comec BST860 is a dedicated cylinder-head workstation designed to make all common head-rebuild tasks (valve removal, installation, disassembly/assembly, inspection) easier, safer, and more efficient. It’s ideal for performance shops, engine rebuilders, or machine shops that do regular cylinder-head work. The BST860’s adjustable table and 360° rotatable head mount let you position almost any cylinder head for easy access — improving ergonomics and reducing the risk of damaging heads or valves during work.

 

Thanks to its pneumatic-powered valve-spring compressor / valve-press system (operated via foot-pedal), both disassembly and reassembly of valves and springs become hands-free operations — letting technicians focus on precision alignment and setup.

  • 360° Rotating Work Table — The table rolls/rotates, so you can swivel the cylinder head to any angle and access all areas without awkward lifting or repositioning.
  • Pneumatic Valve-Spring / Valve Compressor System — An adjustable upper pneumatic cylinder compresses valve springs or seats, activated by a foot-pedal — freeing both hands for precise work and improving safety and consistency.
  • Quick-Clamping Head Fixture — Quick clamps secure the head firmly to the table surface, making sure it stays stable while doing valve/seat work, inspections, or assembly.
  • Adjustable for Various Head Sizes — With a table surface of 870×400 mm (useful surface ~850 mm) and pneumatic pressure support (6–8 bar), the bench can handle many head sizes — from small passenger-car heads to larger diesel or industrial heads.
  • Hands-Free & Ergonomic Operation — Foot-pedal controls, adjustable table orientation, and stable clamping reduce operator fatigue and speed up turnaround for head rebuild jobs.
  • Complete Standard Package — Includes upper and lower pneumatic cylinders, filter-lubricator (for air supply) with pressure regulator and gauge, quick-clamp set, assorted retaining tips for different valves/heads, and a set of wrenches.
